This list of firsts is less about attractions and more about quiet moments and exploring detail. Animal Kingdom provides plenty of excitement but also discovery for those who seek it. Here are a few special firsts for me in Animal Kingdom- DiVine- I caught sight of the arboreal DiVine while walking between Africa and [...]
Shark Reef- $20 buy you a very special experience at Walt Disney World. For $20 you get an oxygen tank, life vest and brief instruction before heading into the shark tank. No training necessary. The experience lasts approximately 30 minutes depending on how quickly you use your oxygen. At the edge of the pool the instructor showed me how to use the oxygen tank and into the fish tank I went. Brrrr. Here is what followed…
Everytime I go to Walt Disney World I make sure to include something, at least one thing that I have never done on a previous visit.
It is part of my experience. Who doesn’t like to experience something for the first time.
So here are the things I did for the first time while on the first day of my trip…
Will the rough start now turn into magical memories? I’m ready for an upswing. It is the first Memorial Day that I’ll be spending at Magic Kingdom.
The flight went off without any problems and now I’m in my favorite airport MCO. This airport has a monorail which is like a little bit of Disney pre show. It gets my imagination going and everything starts to feel like Disney. The elaborate iron and glass ceiling reminds me of the Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom. I like taking in these details but I’m anxious to get to the resort and so I go directly to the monorail to catch the next one. Arriving the second terminal, the gift shops for Disney, Universal, SeaWorld and more just sets the mood for even further for vacation.
