Kali River Rapids is a favorite attraction of mine in Animal Kingdom, second only to Expedition Everest. When it comes to getting wet and cooling off, there is no other attraction like it.

The only places to get wetter are the water parks Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. I’ve read reviews that people feel they get too wet on this attraction and have to go back to the resort and change. This is ridiculous. With the Florida heat, being soaked is refreshing. You will dry off in 20 minutes max.

If an early morning jog is your preferred method of excersice, be sure to inquire at your resort’s Lobby Concierge desk for maps of jogging trails. Just about every resort has interesting, scenic pathways for a jog. You can always stop for a treat or a souvenir in one of the available shops when there are no lines.

The Grand Floridian Resort offers professional tennis lessons both for groups and individuals. For more info or to book a lesson call 407 621 1991. The fee to just use the courts is$10 per hour per person. Lessons are about $80 per session.
