I went to Spirit of Aloha dinner show at the Polynesian for the second time. It was just as good as the first time. I plan on seeing this show every visit to WDW.
Here is part one of the fire dancers performance. If you haven’t seen this show, it’s a must see.
Earl of Sandwich crowned me a Prince. Or could have been written in the stars?
Last month, I flew down to Orlando to see my parents. It had been a long overdue visit as many years had passed since we had seen each other. We agreed to meet in Downtown Disney. Two years ago, I remembered having a really good sandwich at Earl of Sandwich so I suggested we meet up there.
Disney Cast Members and VoluntEARS recently joined a lively crowd of 55,000 in downtown Orlando to participate in the 2010 Come Out with Pride celebration.
The annual event, organized by the Metropolitan Business Association, which serves as Orlando’s Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, celebrates members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community and its allies.
“It was wonderful to see so many positive and supportive people in our community come out and join us for such a memorable celebration,” said Andrea Hays, president of the PRIDE Diversity Resource Group at Walt Disney World Resort. “Each year we try to step up our involvement in the Come Out with Pride celebration and show our support. This year about 85 Cast Members and VoluntEARS represented Walt Disney World Resort in the parade and at events throughout the day, demonstrating just how much we value diversity and inclusion.”
Recently I decided to try some Walt Disney World thrills that I had never tried before. That included my first visit to Blizzard Beach. What bigger thrill there than Summit Plummet? Like a lamb to the slaughter, I decided to get on the “ski lift” and head to the top of, for me, the uncharted Disney mountain.
