I finally got around to trying the favorite Epcot drink of Travel Channel’s Samantha Brown: the Grand Marnier Slush. Usually drinking isn’t part of my Disney park experience because I’m active and on the go. Drinking will make me want to sit. Then want to sleep. Or maybe even puke. Kimonos-vanilla vodka concoction. Story for another time.
But as I was heading to Japan for dinner and passing the kiosk in France which sells these slushes for grown ups I thought I would give it a try. I ordered in French like Samantha then bid adieu to the kind homme.
Just kidding. I picked it up, put it to my lips and went and sat in Morocco.
How was it? Samantha Brown was not lying. This drink is worthy of being an Epcot favorite. It is super refreshing with a nice balance of sweet versus strong. The orange flavor was just right. I had a hard time drinking slowly. It was that good.
Overall I would rate this my favorite frozen drink on property.
The only frozen drink I’ve had on property but still. If you’re passing through France, try this!
And yes, just one Grand Marnier Slush made me drunk. But nothing that two orders of entrees at Yakitori House couldn’t fix.

That does look pretty tasty. I might have to check it out during the Wine and Food Festival as I am not much of a wine drinker. We are going the end of October, so I will look for it. I wonder if it will be as potent to me as the margaritas at Mexico!
I’ve had both drinks and for some reason the Grand Marnier Slush hit me harder. It could have been because it was so good that I drank it too fast.
Try it, I’m sure you’ll like it.
Ohhh Mouse Shit! That’s the drink I wanted to try on my next trip out there when I go around Halloween. And yes I did see it on Samantha Brown’s Disney travel special which made me want to try it because you know, she recommended it and all.
I love slushies and frozen drinks of any kind BUT I don’t like to get drunk so I might share it with someone.
You never mentioned how much they cost.
It is really, really good.
I didn’t mention the cost because prices go up each year. I remember it being around $10 maybe $12. I will check when I’m there in September and post.
